How to achieve smart pick to light kitting?
PTL(Pick to Light) for WIP(Work in Progress) racks
Because some manufacturing facilities are large and dense may impede the radio. So it is hard to find carriers in the WIP racks sometimes, that is why we would like to use the 'pick to light'. We could light up the LEDs on the electronic shelf labels to help locate the facilities, and it also can display information about the LOT (next process, owner, qty of wafers inside, etc). In addition, using it to replace paper labels is also more environmentally friendly.
Also, we could use them in the warehouse for our spare parts or in the Wafer Storage area where the raw wafers are stored. (There is no need for moving these electronic labels in these areas)
