Can a single device update multiple Bluetooth ESL tags without using a base station?
Q: Can a single device (such as a smartphone or Raspberry Pi) update multiple Bluetooth ESL tags on a scheduled basis without using a base station?
A: No. Currently, Bluetooth digital tags can only be updated through direct point-to-point communication with a smartphone. For scheduled or automated updates, a custom gateway/base station application must be developed to receive update tasks from a backend system and distribute them to the tags.
